Electrical engineer ANZSCO covers a mixture of general responsibilities, such as: designing, developing and supervising the manufacture process. Additionally they deal with installations, operation and maintenance of equipment, machines and systems for the needs of their project. And finally obligations of an Electrical engineer are to manage the distribution, utilization and control of electric power.
The job description of an Electrical engineer also includes particular tasks, which need to be observed by the engineers in their daily planning. Such tasks include planning and designing power stations and power generation equipment and determining the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, transmission lines and other equipment.
Electrical engineer also needs to be able to interpret specifications and drawings regarding electric power and equipment usage. They additionally organize and manage the resources used for supplying power to the electrical components and machines or equipment. In order for that equipment to function normally they supervise the operations and maintenance of power stations and distribution centers. Lastly they may specialize in areas such as power generation and transmission systems, in order to extend their scope of work if needed.
As is the case with most ANZSCO groups, many occupations in the Electrical Engineer group have a level of skill corresponding to a bachelor degree or higher qualification. It is expected as well to have a relevant experience and/or on-the-job training, as they may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1). This significantly increases your employment opportunities and is thus the preferred option.
