How CDR writing works
Send us your CV. We assess your eligibility and recommend the right ANZSCO category within 24 hours at no cost.
A dedicated CDR specialist handles everything. You answer our questions; we write your career episodes, summary statement and CPD.
You review every draft. Revisions are included until you are fully satisfied with the final document.
99.9% of our CDRs are approved by Engineers Australia on the first submission.
Who writes your CDR
We match every client with a technical writer from the same engineering field. Your CDR is written by a technical writer whose background is in your profession: a civil engineer’s CDR by a writer with a civil engineering background, a mechanical engineer’s by a writer with a mechanical engineering background, and so on.
CDR writing services
Assistance in CDR writing from scratch
If you don’t have Career Episodes written, we can help you preparing your CDR report from scratch. We would only need your CV and answers to few questions related to your professional experience.
Our assistance includes the following:
Preparation of three Career Episodes, Summary Statement and CPD based on your professional experience. We write CDRs for Professional Engineers, Engineering Technologists and Engineering Managers. If you don’t have enough experience for your Career Episodes, ask us about our research services.
Assistance in Summary Statement writing
Summary Statement is the most confusing part of the CDR writing process, and normally the most time consuming. If you have your Career Episodes ready, but you don’t know how to deal with the Summary Statement, this service is for you. We help you to prepare the Summary Statement based on your Career Episodes and analyse the Episodes for presence of all “units and elements of competency” required by EA. Our service includes:
- Structural, style and linguistic analysis of each episode
- Identification of the missing “units and elements of competency” in the CDR report
- Writing and inclusion of the missing “units and elements” to the Career Episodes
- Preparation of the Summary Statement
- Sending the complete report to you, for your approval
- Polishing of the report, if needed, according to your comments
Assistance with Summary Statement writing can normally be completed within 7-10 days.
Price of this services would depend on the initial state of your Career Episodes.
Please contact us to order these services.
Checking of your completed CDR report
If you have completed writing your CDR report and wish a professional to check its structure, style and to perform linguistic analysis of your report, this service is for you. We test your Episodes and Summary Statement for presence of all the “units and elements of competency” and prepare the Advice Report with our conclusions. The Advice Report includes our findings, suggestions and advices about the structure and content of your CDR.
- Structural, style and linguistic analysis of each episode
- Examination of the Summary Statement
- Preparation of the Advice Report
Checking of your completed CDR can normally be done within 5-7 days.
Confused about your ANZSCO code? Just ask us when ordering our services and we will provide a free advice.
Please read our ‘Terms and Conditions’ before using our service or buying CDR samples.
If you’re interested in any of our services please contact us and we will explain in detail how our services work.
Plagiarism
Quite often we are asked about plagiarism and how we avoid plagiarism in our work. Here is the answer:
We use a sophisticated software in all our work that compares your CDR report to all other previously written CDRs and also to internet souses. We really care about plagiarism as we know that this is a major issue when submitting the application to Engineers Australia and other similar organisations.
Using our services guarantees that the application you receive from us is ready to submit and would be absolutely 100% plagiarism free.
Engineers Australia now screens all CDR submissions for AI-generated content and rejects AI-written CDRs. Every CDR we produce is written by a human CDR specialist with engineering expertise.
Engineering disciplines covered
We write CDRs for all four occupational categories: Professional Engineer, Engineering Technologist, Engineering Associate and Engineering Manager.
Writing your CDR yourself or with us
| Writing it yourself | With CDRsample | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Free, apart from your time | From AU$395 |
| Time | Weeks of research, drafting and editing | You answer our questions, we write |
| EA format and competencies | Easy to get wrong | Checked by a specialist in your field |
| Control | Full | You review and approve every draft |
If you are confident in technical writing and have the time, writing it yourself can work. If you are short of time or unsure about Engineers Australia requirements, professional CDR writing services are the safer option.
